Hey guys just want to say this forum is sweeet helped me out more than any book or local shop could so thank you. And my question of the day is I'm buying a vitos 240 kit used for 200 off of CL the guy says he ran 3 or 4 races before he pulled it to get a ct motor installed I'm wondering what should I look out for when I inspect it also I have a blaster with a toomey kit no lid stock carb can I use the the same set up if not what should I jet to until I get a new carb I have one off a yz125 but it might be too big right? Thanks again guys

look at the clinder for gouges and see what bore its on.you will deffinitly need a bigger carb like a 34 or 35mm
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a 38 carb on that yz is that to big or can I slap it on oh and I was just told it comes with a 3mil crank does that make a dif on how I set things up and is the price ok cause it never fails I always find out after I paid I could have got a better deal?
yea thats a killer price jump on it.do you know if its ported for the +3 crank?if not you should get that bad boy ported for it for full potential

I just got back I got that 240 it was ported to what I don't know looks like they took a chisel to it OMG I'm gonna post pics yes that means I bought it I got it for 100 with hot 3m crank and used complete vf3 reeds this 16yr old kid drove over an hr to meet me so I felt bad so I gave him the cash don't know if I can save this block so maybe after pics you can help me decide if it can be saved OMG, 1 clutch bent basket+ 1 Carb bad threads+1 240 bbk bad port= 1 guy good screw.

yea maybe sending it to a engine builder on here they might be able to port the sh*t out of it and make it useable.
