the carb is a tight fit in the boot without modification. Should fit perfect with a spacer in there and some air box mods

got the throttle cable ordered up, and finished up the spacer today. Should be getting some money soon, so im going to order up some new front tires and look for some better front shocks on ebay.

well, i just threw on my old carb so i could hit up a track tomorrow after school. I have been having an issue with my engine pinging at a certain RPM range under hard accel. Turns out, the dynamic compression ratio has been biting me in the ass with this pipe, i threw in some 110 octane race gas (yes, i can buy that stuff at the pumps) just to aid in the trouble shooting process, low and behold issue gone! Im going to try mixing some of that with some 92 octane gas and see how that goes next (be cheaper as well).

it should be fine mixed, lots of guys around here do it, gives you about 100 octane which should be plenty considering what mods i got.

Went to a track today, there was soo many whoops... a twist throttle is now on my list, lol. Quad ran great with the race gas, the 250R rear shock is a god send, made me realize just how bad stock is haha. I will get some pics up in a bit

after so many woops i have trouble hitting the throttle and my hand slips off the bars, with the twist i can keep a constant grip.

looks like a awesome track. but i cant stand twist throttle on whoops. with thumb throttle you can let go and still hold the bars tight, but with twist, if you lean back you have to either keep on the throttle or move your wrist. just my opinion... they suck

yes! just got some Works shocks on ebay: nice banshee works shocks blaster raptor : eBay Motors (item 250610960178 end time Apr-11-10 19:25:09 PDT)

Can't wait to get those things in! I also changed where i mounted my hand guards and am in the process of mounting up a bike kill switch. Pics will come when those shocks come in!

those shocks should be a TON better than stock. can't wait to put mine on...mine just have the rezzies too

hehe, just got my shocks in. They work sooo much better than stock. Quad is soo much better through the rough and is a little smoother through the woops. Takes jumps like a champ and bottoms out smooth (we got a big table top for me to do that, haha)

I need different shocks. Just have stock, But they'll be my first upgrade as far as I'm concernd, just to stiff and jarring. Do like the Works a lot or they just way better then stock?
