I got mine for basically nothing and ended up putting close to 3k into it, and I didn't even do extra on the engine really. Over 2 was just parts I bought and put on myself. I coulda saved more, but I shipped the whole thing to kor to make sure it was done right. Tg4 ebay (as crappy as it is to be a seller), it payed for most of it. Funny part is guy at the local shop said "500 in parts n labor, we'll have you up and running", never went back there again! Nothing like the piece of mind knowing you have a basically new quad

I would fix the engine you have, it will give you experience and satisfaction.
Hey guys. I know this post is a bit old but i also have a piston with a broken skirt almost similar to ero blaster, the difference is that daddy's little girl was helping out and dropped my piston. So my question is can i salvage it? Im thinking i could dremel the sharp edges down so it doesn't scar the cylinder.
Has anyone tried it before? Im really curious because this broken/modded piston actually removes all wind resistance from intake window and looks as if it would continue to work in the cylinder.
