Hey everyone. so i just bought a couple of blasters only one runs(barely). it'll idle but as soon as you even tap the throttle it bogs out and dies. no clue where to start. it seems like it's got compression but i can't test that. it gets gas but almost too fast. it flows out the overflow like niagra. got no clue where to start.

help? it'll idle.. hell i rode it around a tad just b4 i bought it and now it dies on me as soon as i tap the throttle it bogs out.

Start by taking the carb apart and cleaning it out really good all the jets and everything also while the carb is apart check to make sure the float height is right if its not adjust it thats where i would start

fuel overflowing points to float problems, pull, completly disassemble carb and clean all jets and orifices
pay special attention to the float valve and needle, check the rubber tip for tears,
check float height adjustment, which is 20-21.5mm from where the gasket would sit, to top of float
measured like this........................

YES TO fresh fuel and new spark plug. i'm mixing myself 32:1. i removed the oil tank. should i take out the tors?

yes, delete the T.O.R.S
and if 03+ remove the park brake sensor also

I completely X2 that it's TORS or Parking Brake. Follow your parking brake wire all the way to the back of the quad, by the read tires, and pull the end of it back. On my Blaster, if I engage the parking brake but then take it off, it won't disengage. That's how I turn it off.

most just unplug the park brake sensor at the clutch lever (03+)

If the fuel is pouring out the overflow tube then the float is stuck open. Take the handle of a screw driver and tap on the outside of the carb bowl. This will usually free up the floats.
