What kind of lines is everyone using? I'm putting together front hydro system and was curious. I have the OEM lines. Are they good or should I just upgrade?

IMHO, replace when they start getting old or perished, or if you are redoing the brakes.
Yes they normally do improve the feel as they do not expand as much, but whether it justifies the extra cost, is up to you... "under hard braking conditions". (I take it that you are talking about the braided teflon hoses)

my bike has cable brakes. I switched to Honda 2 piston calipers and using streamline braided hoses. I went with +2 longer lines cause I have +3+1 a arms but should have gone with +3 lines. they work and have some play for turning and suspension movement, but I would be happier with a bit more tube.

Those or the streamline that American Racing sell. Mine are in good shape, they have some wear where they rub against a-arm.
