Polaris ATV 250R 4x2

I have a 1985 Polaris 250R atv for sale. It has a rebuilt carb, bored out top end, new racing piston and rings, crank seals and new battery. I purchased last spring for $375, it ran rough so I had the work done ($250 worth), and it ran for one hour and now won't start. Compression at 110. I have too many other projects going on, so this one is history. Please come take it off my hands. Call Kirt at 608 332-6003. Thanks

bad rebuild? or beat on it with out breaking it in?? get away with rings maybe??

here is what there like running good

sounds like the rings may have never seated, or its a totally unrelated problem and they're retarded

wonder if the piston is in backwards if that's a possibility on that one?

lots of possibilities but for the money it may be worth a try

I have two 87 trailboss 250s... i think they are called 250RES or something like that... they are more utility atvs.. but i think same motors across the cyclones, trailboss and trailblazers.... it hauls ass pretty good and will take a 400 4 poke all day long.... got 225 studs in my rear tires and she moves thru the snow easy for only being 2x4

the 250res and 250x share the same motor as the trail boss and trail blasters, 250cc 2 stroke full auto but the 80s ones had differant porting and port timing and ignition timing i beleave, so they made more hp, i cant find the info right now i thought it was all on aaens website
