as d jackson stated ..boost bottles on a single cylinder with one carb are just for looks. they look kinda trick but do absolutely nothing for performance..to go a little further in explaning why...they were actualy invented for twin or tripple cylinders using multiple carbs (example , snowmobile twins)..it is suppose to ballance out the mixture of fuel/air between the two carburators before it is pulled into the engine and precharge for the next cyccle..some believe it works , some dont.... I have a twin polaris 700 and installing a boost bottle seemd to do nothing, but i ride with guys that are motor heads and they swear by them. but one thing im certain of is on a single cylinder they are absolutely useless. might as well throw your money away
