Bogging when high rpm

my 94 blaster boggs when in 4th gear and anytime it has high rpm i could use any help tp solve this problem thanx

do u have the airbox lid on it?..if so take it off and try it

Thanx i took it off and the air filter didnt have a cover so i am gonna order a new one but it is still bogging a lil. It still boggs bad in 4th gear any solution?

Reclean your carb and air filter. Just to be sure.

I just had this problem with my cousins blaster this past weekend. Turned out to be a dirty coil. Cleaned that with electrical cleaner and a brush. Then pinched the coil to hold onto the spark plug a little better and we haven't had a problem since.

I would check the flow from the gas tank and check the float level.

alright thanx guys i will check it out. I am gonna completly rebuild the carb this weekend and get a new k&n air filter or at least some sort of after market air filter!

UNI brand is the best to go with in my opinion.

What is the difference in cost for the UNI air filter vs the K&N?

the k&n is designed for cars that dont see dust
a uni filter will filter dust and dirt better than a k&n

I heard K&N is a way better brand and it has been around longer. I also have heard that the UNI brand tears easily

well your not supposed to yank on the filter. either way if you use a k&n you better have a friend at a machine shop cause your gonna ruin engine internals from all the particles that they let in.
