bogging down

Haha hopefully he will decide to keep the blaster once its running like it should ! Dirtbikes are cool and all but a quad is more of a year round, all terrain vehicle. Dirtbikes are no fun in the snow as 90% of the time your just battling to keep it up and going !

I need to get out and get on some trails with the blaster to change my mind. When you free to ride? Lets go! I was suppose to go with Mike other weekend, but i had to cancel, had to work on the g/fs car.

That's what I'm talkin about bro ! Well hafto plan it out cause my girlfriend works, I work Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00 and I have a 3 year old. Wednesday are usually always a good day cause my dad takes my son for the night. My girlfriend gets her schedule 2 weeks in advance so thatll make planning a day easier.

Well it's all back together and idling pretty well where I'm happy. Maybe a little more tweaking of slide position and will be perfect. Got a 45/160 in it. Gonna rip it tomorrow.

Sounds good man. Can't wait for the ride report.

She rips. Im gonna throw a 48 pilot in it though.

Was going down straight topped in 4th. Got to end, back brakes on (locked up), front brakes dont do shiz. Slid for a sec, caught grip and rolled. Busted clutch lever, and hurt wrist. Threw another lever on and went ripping.

This thing is just too fast. Im gonna take it to local track with bike for tuesday open practice and see how it goes.

One thing i know i need to change is the twist throttle. Even with my thumb injury i need a thumb lever. Twist is just waay too dangerous with this power on a quad.

I:II:II:II:II:II:I

now ya know why we all do front hydro's too !

whatever turns out for highest idle on the airscrew will tell you what pilot it wants,
high idle = under 1/2 turn = larger pilot
high idle = over 2-1/2 turns = smaller pilot
find the pilot that produces highest idle under 2 turns, then do 1/8 turns either direction till it revs clean past 1/2 throttle and returns to idle without hanging revs

Glad you got it straightened out Chris. You have way too much into it to ever get back. When we get some better weather your going to have to bring this beast to the gravel pits and let the sand fly.

I was riding mine last night with 13/40 gearing. Wheelies in 4th with no problem. 1st gear is useless. I'm going to throw a 38 on the rear. It is ridiculous fast! Ken definetly has things things dialed in.
