Blaster "Un-serialed" motor Rare??

Hi guys i just tore apart my current builds motor to replace the crank and i noticed the left case half doesnt have any type of serial number on it like the last 6 i have owned. And no it is not ground off or scraped away of any type

Anyone know anything about this??

Weird , All the Motors Ive Had About 7-8 And they All Had numbers , Are You Positive that they were not Removed ?

I've seen one like that. Don't know if it's early model or what but I don't think they're especially rare...

Well there is no paint on it and the surface is perfectly smooth like it was made that way. Id like to find out what this signifies

If It Is Smooth And Flat And Not At An Angle Its Been Ground Off In Some Way , I have an 88-02 and 03-06 Bottom End In My Living Room And They Both Have Different Amount Of Number's and Letters !

My bad description... it IS angled and still smooth and is identicle to my other cases lying around

Somebody Wanted a Smooth Motor Then , I looked Online To Find what I Could , And Yamaha never SOLD a Motor Without Number's , Not Saying its a Prototype or Similar , But I'm sure it came (Factory) With Numbers !

The replacement case halves from the dealer do not have the serial numbers on them. It's an OE replacement part.
