Well, latley i've been having some problems with my blaster, I took the carborator appart cleaned it out, but the thing stalls with out holding the throttle, could it be i neeed a new needle? or could it be reeds?
have you adjusted the idle screw at all? check to make sure that when the slide closes it doesnt close all the way, you ahould be able to stack two pennies nder it and it will idle for ya.
and if that doesnt work check the slack in your throttle cable at the bars. to do this take the throttle cover off and adjust the cable while looking down in there to see how much slack you have.
Try cleaning the pilot jet. it is in a hole next to the main jet. It has a tiny hole that plugs easily.
Also the float level is very inportant to the idle. Check it too. About 21mm from the gasket surface to the top of the float. Be careful when checking it that you don't depress the needle, it is spring loaded and should be checked when just barely touching. Hold the carb on it's side.
