blaster rear caliper not fitting!

You can make it work.Looks like to me if you mount the bracket attached to the caliper now onto the backside of the carrier bracket and then put some washers or make a spacer between the mount and caliper. It should work fine.So in the pics you originally posted you would have to remove the mount that is currently attached to the caliper and mount it to the backside of the carrier and then use the washers between that mount and the caliper.Hope this makes sense.lol Also a shorty cable with cable brakes is the way to go.Only bad you just bought a new non shorty cable.

yea i know (about the cable) but i will prob get a shorty anyway just to make it easier and thanks for everybodys input i thought i was asking a dumb ??? and would get flamed but just the oppisite happend and everybody help out so thanks to all that replied and now i will have the rear brakes done tomm.

But now i have to fix the front brakes but i think its the cables cuz i took the drums off and pulled the lever and its barely moving the little thing that pushes the shoes apart and the brakes are adjusted as far as they can go both at the handle and the drums. So my next ?? is does anybody think its the cables cuz thats really all thats left as far as i can see?
