Hello, im having a problem with my kickstarter, when i go to kick it, the foot lever doesnt spring back. And when i start it and warm it up,the exhaust is white smoke, but if i ride it for awhile, the smokes turns clear and the kickstarter bounces back as notmal again. I have recently had to replace the clutch side crankcase cover gasket. And another thing i noticed, before i take off after warm up, i turn the engine off and on the oil glass it shows its 3/4 full. But after a few miles of riding, everything is back to normal, any suggestions?

you should leak test before anymore riding white smoke sounds like clutch side crank seal.also your kickstart issue sounds to me like the spring is broken or not sitting right
Are you sure because after a few min of riding it, its all find, bounces back and no white smoke.
the smoke stopping may be because the seal is warm and swells.But regardless a leak test is a must or you may need a top end if you run it that way
to do a leak test is pretty easy.Look for the thread on how to in the engine section.Awk08 sells a leak tester that works awesome at a reasonable price.Pm awk he will hook you up
No you will not need to remove the cover.
