blaster clutch need relpacing?

i soaked mine in 10w30 valvoline clutch oil. and i let them soak for 3 hours. but i think other people reccomend other things.

yeah i think the tusk clutch kit instructions say to do that as well. but i wanted to go ride and my buddies were waiting. so i only soaked mine for like 3 hours

well clearly its not my clutch that went because i put the new one in and guess what still does the same thing...put it in gear release the clutch it doesnt move at all or even attempt to? the clutch lever feels good too? also when i pushed it down my driveeway i popped it in gear and it didnt go into gear felt like it was in neuatral the whole time? is my trans gone? any ideas?

there is a dot on the clutch boss and also on the pressure plate. i think there is a sticky on clutch installation. if not, use google videos. or youtube. ill see if i can find a link...

cant find a good video, but i did mine... a fiber, then a plate, and i did them every 2 o clock. i saw a video a long time ago that said to do it like that. but cant find it now

i installed the metal plates every other groove in the basket..thats wat someone on here had said in another thread.....i dont think i installed it wromng maybe it needs to be adjusted? i didnt adjust the rod on the pressure plate tho

If the clutch arm (the part on the left side of the motor right in front of the sprocket) is hard to move, you'll need to remove the pushrod, the ball, and the clutch arm. Something is wrong. Without the pressure plate tensioned, the clutch arm should move freely. The pushrod and ball should slide out of the shaft with little effort.

If this is not the case, you need to find the source of the problem and repair it or your clutch will never work right.

Ok well good news I had to replace my clutch cable then I adjusted the clutch and it seems to be working correctly as of now
