Black goop

Yes im running a 30 pilot, which is recommended by LRD, Idk if the adjustable is the same but i would assume they are, the pipe is designed identically, besides being able to change the length of the expansion chamber, which is only to custom taylor the powerband to your style an machine,
So it likes the pilot lean on fuel if I'm thinking right?

Were is your air screw set at that makes you believe that the pilot circuit is rich? Mine was 2.75 out to be close, now with the 30 im 1.75 ish
I'm not completely sure at this point. I thought I had it right with the 32.5, at 1.5 turns out, it ran good. But I saw your post about the 30 and that LRD actually recommends that pilot. Was just curious.

Read the pipe shoot out thread it got the LRD system in that shoot out an tells all about it an the recommended setup of your bike for there system, also how crisp is your bike, i like my bikes to be as crisp as possible, both of my bikes have the throttle response thats Damn close to that of a 2stroke mx bike, there about as snappy as my cr125, obviously wont ever be exactly as snappy due to heavy flywheel an the balance shaft, but can be Damn close if setup correctly

So the 30 pilot on middle clip is perfect. I'm two turns out on A/S adjustment. Idles great and falls off rev to idle great. It has better throttle response as well. Time to get the main dialed in. Thanks for the help.

Mine isn't bad. It just seeps out after running cause it gets hot.
This statement is starting to bother me.

Is it getting hotter than normal?

If the fit up of the pipe will allow thick black spooge to come out, it will almost certainly let air do the same.

If the header leaks at the cylinder the breathing may be affected and cause the jetting and adjustments to be wrong.

It may pay to seal the pipe and then reset the idle mixture.

A leaky header may be making for a lean mixture, which may run great, but give the piston a hard time.
