Hi BlasterFourm! :) So I just bought a 04 Blaster and there is no rust on it except for the pipe which ill be replacing. It has a bad leak on the case so im planning on doing a complete engine rebuild. The top end feels smooth tho when it runs so im thinking the bore is in good shape. Now when i look at big mx/atv websites the all have different rebuild kits and so on. Does anyone know what the best rebuild kit is to get? i want top of the line gaskets and seals of course so ill never have to deal with it again. Also do things like the kick starter mech need to be completely replaced and what else need to be replaced and what brands do i buy? ive been told by many people to buy the Wiseco performance piston but idk what crank i should buy bc someone said Wisecos was made in China? I was told it was a 200 bore and im planning on racing it. Im planning on doing ll the work myself but im in no rush.

I really prefer cosmetic or widarosa gaskets. Stay away from wiseco cranks. Their pistons are good. Get yamabond if your going to split the case if your leak is there.

yep, i get all my engine bearings, gasket, seals ect. from ken oconnor racing, he will insure you get the best quality available, and also carries the little clips, washers, pins, balls ect, ect. that may be hard to find elsewhere.

he can also rebuild that quality factory crank for cheaper than an unknown origin
chi-wan-ese aftermarket crank.
