My bearing carrier/axle housing bearings on the sprocket side were completley shot when I bought my 02 blaster. I got everything out and I'm wondering if the sprocket side is supposed to be deeper than my brake side and do I press the new bearings completley down to the lip/ridge?

Consider adding a zerk in carrier. Some pack brg and run both seals, some leave inner seal off. This is with zerk added. All I can say is seat the bearing fully into carrier making sure to get seals on correct side. Anti-seize on hub splines is excellent idea(hint)
