Banshee Trade????

im at least going to look at it tomorrow. im gonna check the things you mentioned. id love a banshee for a project but i also need a Solid project.

the thing with banshees is modding gets expensive quick! hope u got deep pockets, or just mod it mildly and it wont be too bad.

if u get it

Awk is right about the stator. Not 100% on kill, to lazy to get the manual :D. I think kill grounds but key completes circut. Do a comp test for sure. Something doesn't add up tho. Ask to see proof of 2 grand in engine, I call BS on that 8-|

I don't see anything special about it

the kill switch is the same on the blasty as a banshee. bring yours and try it.
i seen that deal but its way too fishy for me.
but if the compression checks out and your killswitch makes it run get it.

idk if the blaster one is the same, i have another to try but this is a stock banshee one, they look different.

i need some one who knows to let Me know if i can bypass the switch....

shat, my bad i figured it was the same. didnt realize it was a plug like that. all the kill switch does is create a loop in a circuit. so essentially the thing you need to do is figure out which wires are going to the kill switch out of that bundle. and use a jumper wire to hook them together thus creating a loop.
to kill the engine the killswitch just grounds out the system.

BUT if the compression is good on the engine and its not leaking coolant it should be rebuildable. tell him ill trade him if you dont want to.

the whole thing stinks, i gotta check and see if the tors is still connected, if the ignition switch has been tampered with. my buddy said for me to come to the house tomorrow and i can look at it all i want, his kid is fascinated with the blaster, lol! who knows, maybe it just needs some small sh*t to get it running. i guess we'll see.....

if you do this, ILL CUT YOU!!!!!!
calm down JASON!!! its nothing yet, just gonna take a look at it. did you see the pics? its not bad. Not Great but, its a Shee and if its not too messed up, i might. besides, i have a Blaster...average sale= 1800-2000 tops!!! this is a Banshee...average sale=2400-3200 tops. even mine on its best day is worth that average but mostly in a part-out. the banshee is Always gonna be worth more $ wise! AND if i could do with the blaster what i have, can you imagine the fun i could have with a banshee??? Boo ha ha ha haaaaahhhh!!!!

if you trade you promise me youll make it look as good as your blasty??

Based on the modifications done to your blaster, the trade is not worth it in my opinion. Deal REAKS of fish, and it doesn't just SOUND like a fried wiring issue. If the compression test passes, than MAYBE I'd consider it. But with a blaster like that, I would never trade it for a shee. You have a one-of-a-kind blaster and I think you should keep it. With all of its problems, the banshee isn't worth what your blaster is worth now.

believe me, if i even catch a WHIFF of tuna, IM GONE!!!

Banshee's take deep pockets , you can't go cheap or cut corners . If you are happy with the blaster and happy with its performance then stick with it . When you venture into the world of the banshee you are quickly surrounded by a overwhelming mentality of bigger is better and trail bikes are the red headed step child of 350 twins . So if you decide to put on your big boy pants , go forth with this one bit of advice - " Be careful what you wish for , You might just get it "

so true..................

banshees are great, but you can't stop modding them. I can hardly trail ride mine anymore. less then 30 miles on a full tank of race fuel. my blasty is my trail bike now.

keep your blaster and buy the banshee.
