Banshee ignition help please help!!!

Ok went out and using a couple of ring connectors,6in of high strand audio 10g wire,and some shrink wrap i made some grounds coming right off the cylinder head studs with washers and nuts to the frame and coil and got it to spark once from each side wtf!?!?!?!

I then rechecked my other grounds and im convinced theyre good wtf now?

The only things left are the coil and cdi which will be here soon.

Am i safe to say ive ruled out all i can without the other parts?Id say so.

What gets me is i know once i get this figured it will have been something stupid.But at this point ive done every diagnostic procedure within my capabilities with no sucess.

I studied the diagram all night and went over my harness isolating each circuit and function.And it seems the keyed switch has a black wire and a red/black wire coming from it and i left them out of the equation.Oddly enough the red/black wire goes to a ground to signal the cdi that its to send power and start signaling spark.I jumped the red/black wire to a ground and she roared to life on the first kick!!!

So F**K YEA sh*t is again progressing i should be able to ride it soon!

Do have to get a new stator cover due to the new pick up coil not quite fitting so i trimmed the cover out and went to far so i ebayed one a few mins ago now know how much to take out to get it to fit.was just going to use my oem stuff but come to find out a wire was broke off and hanging from the pick up coil so thats a no go.

I plan to just use the new cdi,coil,stator pick up and keep the others as spares as suggested for diagnostic purposes.

But to all of you guys that chimed in thanks i appreciate it the banshee wiring is a funky ass schematic and wtf ever heard of using a r/b wire to ground?

LMFAO yea especially after all the diagnostic work ive done!!!

But yea bro she is up and running one kick and i dont have the silencers on it and holy sh*t is it loud!My neighbors gotta love me!
