I just finished installing banshee hydraulic brakes on my '95 Blaster. What an amazing difference. It feels like the new brakes would flip the blaster over on cement.
I ended up using Banshee front hubs, rotors and calipers, along with the front master cylinder and lines. I also purchased a set of modified Blaster spindles that were modified to fit the Banshee hubs. The guy that modfied them is a member on this site. These spindles were excellent and made the swap extremely easy and did not require the ghetto (in my opinion) hack to the upper a-arm ball joint to run the Banshee spindle.
For the rear, my Blaster already have a bracket welded on to the carrier for the Banshee rear caliper. The caliper bolted on then I modified the pedal and made a bracket to mount the rear master cylinder. I water jetted the bracket as I have access to a waterjet. Came out better than I expected.
For anyone considering the hydraulic brake upgrade, it is an ABSOLUTE MUST. There is no comparison between the factory drum brakes to the Banshee hydraulic brakes. I spent about a total of $300 on the complete conversion.
I'll be posting pictures up as soon as I can.
