Bad Kick Starter Kick?

Hey guys, was kicking the blasty over and for some odd reason the motor wont turn freely all of the time and i get a nasty feedback through the starter and the motor doesnt want to keep turning freely. I supplied a video but the lighting sucks so i dont know if youll be able to see or hear anything.

Its not broke or anything, it works fine, i just don't like the nasty feedback im getting at the bottom of the kick....

something is broken or not installed right. there are lots of threads on here about proper kickstarter spring installation. search it.

Found the problem! The little clip with the nub slipped off the gear!

Huh? clip on the nub? off the gear? I'm lost. Are you saying the spring tab came out of the hole?

Its number 3 in the diagram and its suppost to go on the end of gear 2 and it slipped off of it. i put it back on and it works fine now.
