Backfiring after top end rebuild

It was running fine before, top end is bored 67.5 and the head was re domed.

It was rebuilt cause of cold seize and since then it will start and backfire as soon as you touch the gas.

Was told to move need clip down one notch before running it.

Which needle has been moved any other suggestions?

clean the carb, then do a plug chop

sounds to me it's not getting gas through your main jet or carb bowl. As soon as you crack throttle your getting air but no gas that's why it back fires and dies/cuts out. clean your carb and your jets.

back firing through the carb is probably an ignition issue.. has nothing to do with the carb..

i assume it back fires thorugh the carb when you kick it over.. and it;s not starting correct?

It was my buddies blaster. Took it back to the guy that did the rebuild, and he made sure tors was working. He override the TORS and it did same. Changed to new spark plug and hooked tors back up works fine now.
