okay i've tried to adjust my air screw and I'm still fouling plugs I have vforce reed 3 cage and toomey b1 full exhaust I 've removed the tors and now the bike will start and won't stay running with out giving it some throtle and then it back fires and idles for a secvond then cuts off . If you go for a ride it runs fine for about 10 mins then starts to bog down any ideas the air screw is set about 1 1/2 out:(

I have the toomey pipe, boysen reeds, with air box lid off and im running a 270 main jet w/ air screw 3/4's of a turn out. works perfect with my setup.I:I

okay now i've got a 270 mainjet and it won't start at all now any advice maybe an airleak but I can't seem to find one maybe the gas mix 32 to 1 any ideas I'm open to anything

stock carb., checked reeds everything good could it possibly be the cold weather made a kind of whistle noise when I went to start it to

did you check the plug? and might be cold weather but..... thats just initially warming it up it will take like 10-20 kicks depending and did you adjust your idle screw/air screw?

plug is brand new and i kicked easily 20 times I messed with the air screw but not sure if the one I'm turning is the right one the one on top of the tors sorry if I sound a little ignorant

what about tors wires i've disconnected but all the wires are still there i got spark reeds are good fuel flow good and do not know how to check compression

if your getting spark it cant be that unless its weak spark try to hit it with some staring fluid. if i runs on that then cuts off its not getting fuel (carb problem)

The screw on top of the tors is your idle adjustment. The air screw is on the choke side of the carb. It is a little brass flat head screw. This is the the screw that should be 1 to 2 turns out.
