Axle question

i am considering upgrading to a disc brake blaster, will my lonestar axle from my drum brake model fit the newer bikes?? I've heard different things, anyone got first hand experience or seen it done???

Sorry m8, the old style brakes have a 'floating' brake hub where the new ones have a lip to hold it in, so it wont work

haha yea np, well what do you have your axle adjusted too? If you didnt mind losing a small amount of width you could sell the lonestar axle and pick up a banshee axle (+3 1/2in), banshee brake hub and a 03+ blaster carrier so you could then bolt up the hydro caliper... just an option. you prolly dont wanna part with your axle tho lol

at the moment shes 3 1/2 inches each side, maybe +4, well if i was to get a new shape blaster, would the banshee axle go straight into the blaster carrier??

no your right, i like my lonestar axle too much lol

im almost positive lonestar axles vary in the diffrent yr blasty.........1 for 88-02 and 1 for 03-06
