axle carrier

I need to know what the difference between the 88-02 carrier and the 03-06 carrier. I am trying to buy new bearings and i'm not sure what year it is.

let me weed out these few upcoming questions

stock setup

i do not know what year the bike is its a mutt

it's has hydraulic disc brakes but i'm not sure if they added them
it appears they did.

just need to know the difference in the carriers

only difference i know of is the 03+ ones have the ears for the hydro brake caliper
they all bolt to any swinger, and have to use the same bearings

if i remember right, there is two different part numbers for the older carrier bearing kits and the newer carrier bearing kits. i think the bearings are the same, but i think the seal on the rotor side of the carrier may be different

bearings are the same 6007rs but the seals are different on pre 2003, they are both 42mm 62 8mm while on the post 2003 only the sprocket side is 42mm and the brake side is an odd size of 43mm 62 8mm

also the post 2003 has the ears on the caliper mount points.
