ATF as trans oil

i've heard about people running automatic transmission fluid in there blaster trans and had good results. i was wondering if it matters which type of atf you use because there is so many different types. i have a bunch of Dex/merc left over from a old truck i used to have and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with it or knows off hand if its okay to use in a blaster. the bottle says it can be used for type H applications if that helps.

i run tranny fluid and really like it, but it HAS TO BE atf type F,its for old fords

I have ran it and I personally don't like it, I think valvoline gear box oil is better and I can go more rides without changing it.. but thats just my .02
Try it, the worst that could happen is you either love it or dislike it.
