are these jets any good?

ive just ordered some v force3 reeds and uni filter when i get them delivered ill run the air box lid off, ive been told off about everyone ill need to rejet, will these jets be any good?

Sure. They are fine, and that is a good price for that many jets. OR....you could try your local dealer or bike shop. Most carry mikuni jets for about 5 bucks each. It all depends on what you want.

Yeah, a 290 is about the leanest you should need for piped with no-lid. Get the kit then. It is a good price for what you get.

I'm not fond of Dynojet Kits. They have good instructions but their jets use proprietary numbers that don't cross over to Mikuni #s. I'd stick with the Vito's kit.

btw whats the difference between a pilot jet and a main jet and will i need a new needle or anything like that with the bigger jet?

That is a good supplier, but the ad says it is the stock replacement (goes in airbox) yet the pic shows a clamp-on. The ad also says pic is of the actual filter. Confusing.

Maxima makes excellent oils. Stands to reason they would make a good filter, and you can't beat the price.

The pilot jet feeds the low speed circuits (off idle and idle). The vito's kit had a smaller one and a new needle. The smaller pilot is a surprise but if it works with the rest of the parts, cool. Their custom needle is made just for them (supposedly) so just follow the kit instructions for that.
