Anyone know of this airbox?

yeah i have a 290 now but i think i need to go up a size or two, from what ive read 2 sizes up from what you use with an airbox, i was using a 290 so im gonna try a 300 or 310 if i need to after i put a new plug in and look at the color

don't get rid of the airbox if there is any chance of riding in mud or water, just asking for trouble doin that.but if you plan on sand riding with outerwears or just gravel or grass riding ur good!

yeah i have outerwears and i stay away from mud its just a pita to clean, but you would be suprised how much mud and dirt you can go through and it not get on the filter, esp with the wide rear axle, the tires dont throw mud on the filter

I'd be more worried about crap from my chain spraying my filter........But then again, I've had clamp ons before and they’ve been fine. It just seems so close to the chain on my blaster.

all honesty id rather run a chunk of radiator hose for aintake tube than that metal one... smooth bends are the way to go
4cfed got a good idea, they might work good if they're the right size. You could make a box out of just about anything that holds up then.

another thing to think about is heat, metal will hold more heat than plastic or fiberglass, not sure how much of a difference it would make but a plastic or glass intake and box would hold less heat meaning slightly cooler air coming in.
