It's supposedly in the Indy area. Don't know anything about it, but 1 grand for an 89 250R is HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Just FIY.

I'm actually not far from Indy but I can't swing a grand right now as I need it for other stuff, otherwise it would of been sold already.

Sounds like a scam/spam. Gonna get one of those 4 strokes lol... but a properly built yfz with a good roder will definitely be hard to catch on any stockish 250r with any sort of user error.
I would. f*ck fixing that thing. That 250R looks pretty used. The seat and red plastic look like sh*t and the pipe needs a good cleaning.
Throw in a TRX90 engine and he probably wouldn't know the difference.
People as dumb as this kid always makes me wonder if it's just a stolen quad considering the idiocy behind the statements he makes and the fact that he is selling it so cheap.

Either way I hope that was a legitimate sale and I was ready for a road trip. I hate when people lead you on. I made it from Atlanta to Louisville, KY and f'r sold it out from under me. I can't afford it, was buying it for a cousin and paying cash. M$%$ER F*CKER!
