see if there is any local shops that do it. small stuff like that shouldnt be expensive, plus you wont have extra time in there for shipping and shipping costs
Though remember if going to a local shop they are likely to charge set-up fees so it is sometimes better to get a few parts together so you only pay set-up once.
Yeah I'm looking into getting my frame PC'ed with a metallic flake - $200. It'd be more if I didn't sand and strip the existing paint off myself, so whatever prep you can do on your own will help your cause.
My local sand blast shop wanted $75 just to do my frame. If you have a compressor you can get a cheaper 20lb pressurized sandblaster for $60 and sand together for $85 then have something you can use all the time. pressurized has twice the air speed than siphon blasters but have to stop to refill with air.
Ya i got the parts all down to bare metal. They've just been sitting for awhile so there is some light surface rust now. But thatshoudn't be a problem I woudn't think.
i had everything powder coated on the 450r for 500bones, frame, swinger, front wheels, bead locks, hubs, engine mounts,, if you think about it thats an awesome deal at that price and i used multiple colors
