Hey guys I am reading alot about jetting and I think I am getting some miss information. I currently have a fmf fatty pipe air box lid removed and a k&n filter. Which jets should i be running with this setup or where should i start. I also would like to know if I am changing jets should I be playing with the clip position on the needle. I also run my blaster through some heavy puddles so I do put the air box lid back on when I go riding on the trail would that effect the main jet size? Thanks!

what he said, and yes puttin the airbox lid back on is gonna make you run rich

Is there any reason to change the pilot up a few values? I just wanna purchase a couple different jets to get her running perfect. I also was wondering where should i get my jets? Vitos or from kehin?

No, you should not have to mess with the Pilot.
If your carb is stock, you use Mikuni hex jets, available at any local bike shop, or of course the unteen million resources online. Just try to not pay more than $7 a piece for them.

Also, as stated, your bike will run rich with the airbox lid reinstalled, without changing jets, so again have 2 jets handy for the two type of riding conditions you listed above.

I was running a #290 with the mod setup you listed, no lid, K&N, FMF Fat/PCII, Boyesen reeds, etc... This seemed to run good but prob could of been a #280 safely...
