I did 30k intervals for the first 3 years, changing only the filter every 10k. I too participated in the sample tests and results. Good stuff in my Diesel excursion.

diesel engines and gas engine have different oil change intervals.

Lasxgames. According to the chart that you displayed amsoil can/shoul be used only if your mixing 50:1. I dont see anywhere on the chart mentioning 32:1 which is where i am now.

Wussup 4cfed. I think i mentioned on several threads about this being my first 2stroke. I am hyped about it. Any way, when i got the blaster the dude gave it to me with tires and rims front and back, two helmets, and 8 quarts of belray oil. But seeing you on other threads it seems to me you mos def know your stuff. As far as the belray was it some cheap stuff that he wanted to dump off on me or do i have some quality stuff i can use until im ready to use some better stuff or stay with it? Drop that knowledge on me maaan!!!

I always have ran intercepter in mine, and i think its good oil. Its made locally in Superior, Wisconsin. Also AMSOIL must have donated quite a bit of cash, because the new hockey arena in Duluth, Minnesota is the "AMSOIL ARENA."

I have ran Amsoil Saber in my son's racing blaster for two years at an 80:1 ratio with 110 fuel. When he was racing the DRX 90 it was 100:1. The blaster engine is an Arsal big bore with a Hot Rods 4mm stroker crank and is ran very hard racing. I put new ring in at the end of last season. Thats it! Competitors don't believe that we mix that lean but you can with this oil.

I'm surprised, actually! AMSOIL does advertise that its OK to run that lean of a mix ratio with the Saber oil, but I'm not willing to risk a top end to find out. I guess AMSOIL lives up to that claim, at least in some cases! I run Interceptor oil at 44:1 and don't have any complaints. I plan to pull the (currently-stock) top end on my '05 Blaster and send it in for porting this spring. I'll be curious to see how it wears while running AMSOIL between now and then.
