Ok so Im gonna be putting on my bf's toomey on his blaster, motor is stock, gonna get Boysen dual stage power reeds, and UNI filter, but Im not sure if there is a difference for jetting for running no lid or with a vented lid, I kno the B1 exhaust comes with a 310 but Il need to buy prolly 300 and 320 just to be sure, so is there much of a difference between airlids??

I run an UNI with an outerwears cover directly on the filter and no lid.

Like this.

Well I actually have a regular airlid but off my partout blasty had a regular looking airlid that had like 3 quarter size vents in it........ So which one should I use? Are the vents big enough for the right amount of air needed to get in?

vented air box lid will NOT work. i have the toomey system and my blaster just died. it didnt have enought air with the venetd air box lid. i currently run the toomey sytem with a 310 main jet. forgot which needle postion it is on though. i belive the toomey sytem comes with a 310 main jet. i have found that it a little rich. i would rejet down to a 300 main

Ok cool thanks, I will just go airlid off for now til I can get something better to protect the filter, my bf doesnt just wanna go completely off for some reason but he will just have to deal with it for now lol

Thanks for all the help guys!!!

i ran mine with no lid for months and i ride in some very very nasty wet conditiions and have never had a problem, no lid will be fine I:I
