hey im gonna race my blaster at the atvs races at my local racetrack usual for cars not quads. anyways is there any advice for racing? i have the 14 tooth sproket on now and im wondering if i should swicth back to a 13 for racing? the track is banked and each lap is a fourth mile. i dont have all the info for like how many laps, classes. i think they just run us all in 1 class. this is my fist time racing and would appreciate any advice thanks and this track is flat btw.

run the 14, the 13 is too low and also shortens the power band so you'll be shifting more. Sounds like you'll be in 4,5 and 6 most the time. Just keep your weight to the inside and if u start sliding the backend too much for comfort DONT dump the throttle..let off slow. When u dump the throttle you'll high side...somebody posted a vid not long ago of that exact thing. Gas hard down the straights and brake late. Good luck and most of all have fun!!!

buy some lawn mower turf tires, ive seen people use them as a cheap alternative to flat track tires, they have a nice flat profile and are light
