Advanced timing key or not?

Sheared the key yesterday and before I grab a new one I was just wondering who has used one of the advanced timing ones and what they thought. I've seen a few people say they break alot eaiser and don't ad that much power for what it's worth, just wanted some opinions.

its probably not the best way to advance timing, but i have used one before and never had a problem breaking one...

i have an adustable timing plate now which is a better way to advance the timing instead of one of those keys.

^^right on bro.......those keys only advance ur timing about 2 dgrees anyway

there's a thread on here about cutting your stock stator plate for advance adjustment, since you got it all apart you might as well do it the right way, the only way a keyway breaks is if your flywheel gets loose, keyways are for alignment purpose's they shouldn't be taking any amount of load while your flywheel is turning, that's why when flywheels get loose your key will break almost right away
