Got the new blaster up and going and am going to take it to the river tomorrow before dinner but im a little paranoid on the jetting i had a 280 in it and had it out a little earlier today and with the cooler temps (45 here) i bumped it to a 300 do you guys think a 300 is too much for a mildly modded blaster at those temps?
Ive not had it going long enough to do a plug chop and thats on the agenda tomorrow but i want to know im at a safe starting point dont have the cash to redo it because of something simple as a jet change.Temps im riding in are ranging from 45-60 day to day.My mods are a fmf gnarly,dg silencer,boysen reeds in the stock cage,twin air filter,BR9ES plug,stock carb 300 main,jet needle mid clip,tors elim,oil inj. removed 32:1 premix 93oct,cometic gaskets.
Just sitting in the drive it revs clean and crisp and ripping up and down the street it revs clean hits power band pretty quick and pulls descent.
What you guys think 300 too big?Im looking to be a little rich to be safe.
