No. the sprocket seal is in no way attached to the crank chamber. just get the right plug in there. then fix your mixture issue. ride it and see what it does. if you are burning the arm off the plug you are detonating but we will get to that after you check the problems we know you have
Then forget what I said about the crank seal, because if it dont smell bad its not tranny fluid.
When was the last time the carb was cleaned.

I have a blaster 200cc got a new piston put in it. Starts a d runs fine when i ride fir couple hours it starts to cough and splutter and then itll back fire and cut out.then when i put a new plug init it starts runs but does same all over

I just got a 1999 blaster and its the first 2-stroke ive owned, It was recently rebuilt and i rode it for like a hour real easy trying to break it in. while riding it it shut off and hasnt ran since itll run for a second and mkae a knocking noise and shut off. i thought it was cesed but theres no scaring on the cylinder wall and the piston is fine, i run my fuel at 32:1 i have no idea whats wrong with it, need help any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a problem in your bottom end. Could be a bad crank and or bad rod bearings or main bearings

Wonder if i can get some help,i recebtly got myself a blaster,and im not to sure if the motor sounds normal,its stock standard,and its a 2004 can someone upload a sound how the motor should sound so i can compare mine,i just want to make sure if mine has a engine knock or not.

i have a 97 blaster i just paid a guy to get my motor redone now when i start it it run sounds ok then sounds like grinding then then ok then grinding and only run when i stay on the gas anyone no what it can be?

hey guys hope u can help me i got a 2000 blaster it has a wisco flat top pistion in it boysen reeds its been punched 20 over and has a FMF fatty pipe what can i do to make it faster

I have pulled the head on a yamaha blaster and the piston was broken into pieces, how do I clean out the metal from the crank case, and how do I tell if the crank is no good?
