A longer lasting 18"

I like my razr cross's alot esp in the loamy stuff. But they are wearing way too fast for my likings
So the question is what is a longer lasting 18" rear tire?
regular razr's?
irazr's?
klaws?
and so on....
Am I screwed? lol I love 18"s the way they perfom, look, lightweight.... but I don't want to burn through a set or two in a short 5 1/2 - 6 month season, are 20" my only hope?

I think that the problem with 18'' tires in general is that there designed mostly for mx racing. They tend to be made from a softer compound for maximum grip and with max grip comes faster wear. What are your riding conditions? If at all possible stay off gravel roads and if you have to take them to get to your riding spot try to just cruise down the road. Also, you may want to play with your air pressure. If all else fails try to find some off brand 18'' tires and see how they wear.

Well I'm in no luck then... half my trails are gravel, and my main riding place is a gravel pit. I like your idea though, some cheap off brands might get the job done.

well if i were u i would get 20 tire for ur riding conditions(snow) hah,,,and kenda claws will get the job done, they deffinatly dont wear fast....thats but i wanted but my dad got me razrs for christmas so they were free for me so im not complaining

I really only want a 20" if I HAVE too, and deffinatly not with the stock swinger.

Wow I didn't know Hoosier made atv tires.
Those look to be the answer to your problems 27.

i like hoosier, dwt ites, and the shredder tires, they are hard to find, i don't think they make them anymore, i think they're like GBC groundbuster, ors omthin, i'm usin kenda fronts, gonna get the rears when my shredders wear out, whick will be in a while

ugh i hate thos tires but for u 27 they might work good. where i ride its muddy so thos suck my friend has them on his 350x and theyve lasted like 4 years and we ride on roads and gravel roads all the timeand they still have good tread

ahahh your lucky.......i ride streets a lot and into the woods which are a good mile away.........on my brand new can am ds450 i got 1 month ago......they come with 20in 6 ply holoshots and im at about 70% tread.........so i 18in i think i would need new tires every month my next tires are gonna be the holoshot mrx6's 18in i think there called i like those a lot...........i relized rzr ware real quick and holoshots dont ware as bad

I've also been looking at kenda kutter mx's, they look like a pretty beefy tire.

I have the kenda knarly mxr's and they seemed to wear pretty good. They are also 18's.

i like how hard turf tamers are, and they are a nice cheap light tire, you should get those man, they are awesome, wha know you have 18inchers on your 200x
