a lil advice please

i was going to take my cylinder off to get it ported i took off like 3 bolts and got caught doing something else and with it gloing to snow soon im gonna hold off on the port job so if i put the bolts back on the cylinder do i have to do a heat cycle treatment before i ride it again

I would just retorque your 3 bolts and ride, no need to heat cycle.

Anytime the piston and cylinder already have ride time together you dont need heat cycles, If either has changed you do heat cycles.

what if you get a port and polish? do yo need to do heat cycles then?

if the head gasket tension was released by taking off any of the head nuts,
i'd suggest annealing it to insure it seals back up ..................

Better still use a new head gasket.
