A arm skid plates

I'm fabricating up some a arm skid plates i thought
Might try and do them up I haven't seen anything like
This in the DIY section I am almost finished I'll post some
Pics tommarow I have one more side to finish.

what are you making them out of because ive seen them made out of plastic and metal but they seem pretty easy to make and work very well no matter what they r made of

You think it would hold up good? Aluminum is kinda weak for deflecting rocks don't you think?

I put them to the test today and seemed like they
Held up really well

here's the ones i made, out of .125 diamond plate
and yeah, i faced the diamond plate the right direction....
up, they have held up great all of last season and so far this one

they have a 1" lip bent up on the front to protect the arms from front impacts too, not just from the bottom
