Blaster hit a tree and was trashed, I mean trashed, frame is being straitened now. 75 bucks to straiten not to bad, welds are good no cracks in tubing. But plastic is all cracked up. let me know thanks and nice forum.

I am sure i am in right spot. unless its a code thats not to my knowledge... full rebuild like i am doing engine body and so forth... let me know if I am in wrong spot mode can redirect my post. Thats what they are for right?

Ebay has nice asr extended a arms, banshee rear axles are a nice upgrade and you can pick one up for around $50, you can send your top end to ken oconnor for porting and a head mod, theres exhaust, wheels and tires, maier has nice plastics, or just google search. Maybe your local craigslist too

Ye i agree with blaaster, uve not mentioned its a full rebuild, you said your looking for cheap parts(there is a parts section)

Use the search bar or google and iam sure you will find everything your looking for, if its a full rebuild tell us from scratch your plans etc

Good luck ;-)

Also may want to let people know where you are For Shipping and what not , Should take a note pad and pen , and walk out to the blasty and figure out what you Need first , Then you can start modding it !!

all good advice thanks. Thought this forum was abandoned for bit there. I need everything all but frame. and engine block. thanks again.

Havent ran one personally but from what I have read they seem to be pretty decent. They are alot more appealing then the 600-700 Lonestar ones. But having a roundhouse carrier is a dream instead of the factory chain tensioners!!

Abandoned? Heck no! We were all out riding!
Oldguy? That is all we need around here, another old guy! <GRIN>
With Blaaster, Otis, and myself. Awk08 and Slick ain't no spring chickens either!

Some of the guys I ride with call my Blaster "a kid's toy".
I guess it is a way of getting me back for all the dust I make them eat?

Serious now, you don't need to spend too much on mods to have a good time on these rigs.
The engineers did a good job of design on these, only small changes are really needed.
Better to get it working in stock form before doing any huge mods.

I agree, but I want it to be a bit more stable from popping the front up and from tipping. I am 47... and have a lot of injury's. I am also fixing up a scrambler. But thats going to be later. Thanks for the info guys.

I am with you on that. Over a dozen broken bones over the years, I had a sense of adventure with no co-ordination!
I opted for a 2" swingarm extension as a good balance. My son's 4" extension seems more prone to spin, hard to get traction.

Link to how I extended and more pictures it in my signature if you are handy with a welder.

I'll help you, my hobby is looking at blaster parts that's for sale. You have a budget of $3K, what do you want to do with the quad when you are finished? (The type of riding you want to so-called MX, trails, hill climbing, dune riding, XC, drag racing?) From there I (and many others here, we're not short on opinion s) can give plenty of advice.
