I have a warrior sitting in my shop, can I steal the disc setup for my daughters drum brake blaster?

The front upper balljoints look different which was my major concern upfront as for the rear I am clueless on what will be the headache there :-/

or should i just by a later blaster hyd brake setup & skip the headaches :-/

Thanks gents, I am sure someone here has more experience on this than I.

first off is the warrior 1990 or newer? if so contact norman420 on here and he can mod spindles to accept the warrior front brakes. on the rear you'll just have to mod up a brake pedal for the master, mount the master to the frame, and make an adapter for the rear caliper OR try to scrounge ebay and get an 03+ carrier and brake hub (or a banshee one), and an 03+ pedal/footpeg. you'll still need to attach the master to the frame somehow

Something like this?

:) Thanks gents, been knee deep trying to get my sons raptor to start easy (POS) I hate that bike & all the damn Gobblers been quiet taking up alot of my time hence this been on the back burner for now.

EDIT: my son said it was a 97 - we should fix it but the electric start only really makes me not want to mess with it after the raptor X(

Those moded spindles look awesome, BUT were are the disc guards? all you have to do is drill and tap 2 holes to hang them.
I like how the plate is bolted on, I tig welded mine on.

I run a batch everytime I can dig up 6 sets or more. I haven't been aggressively selling them since I am having trouble rounding up used sets for a reasonable price. I have one set available right now and I think I am going to have enough for another run next week. I always give the Blaster Forum members first crack at them.

The first set i did was about 5 years ago. I wanted to run them on my own Blaster for a year or so, to make sure nothing catastrophic would happen over time (bad brakes = death). Have never run a gravel ring and can't remember it ever being a problem. The drilling and tapping is an easy enough mod. Maybe I'll start prick punching the mounting plate to make it easier for the end user to locate them.

I like how you bolted the plate on the spindles, it looks safer then some of the bubble gum welds I have seen people do.

I thought about making a weld on plate and collar kit, like what I made on my blaster to sell, but if the welder CANT WELD GOOD it might be hazardous.:o

When I first started doing them I had a bent one that I flat head cap screwed the plate on (like I do now). The spindle wasn't sellable but it lent itself well for a test. Put it in a vise and bashed the crap out of it with an 8# sledge. Never could get the fasteners to shear.

I do turn a boss (between centers) on the spindle for locating the caliper plate and it also insures your pads will hit the rotors dead flat.
