I have a 88 blaster it will run for alittle while when pull started if you keep the tjeottle wide open but the second you move the theottle it cuts off any suggestions
Anytime you have a problem the first things you should do is perform these tests and inspection. Leakdown test, compression test, check jetting and clean carb, do a plug shop, and inspect reeds. I know it seems like a lot, but it's not. It will save you a LOT of money in the long run.
If it sounds abnormal, like its bogging and hollow sounding there is a good chance it is the reeds. Thatd cause it to only stay running when it was held at wide open.
