ok well after about 26 years of me and my dad riding the piss out of it its fianly time for a rebuild (its smoking like a fraight train) and i need to find a shop to get it rebuilt and i was wondering if anyone knew of any shops that will do a topend fairly cheap and does a good job

any ideas on what it is gonna cost to get it rebuilt with new piston rings and a new bore

$200+ for parts plus labor + valve job if needed. Now the beauty of a 2smoke shines through. Be sure you want to put the money into it. Is it worth it? Consider maybe new rings, valve seals, valve job, timing chain, gaskets. No matter what labor will be the bigger part of the job.
