Anyone have a pic of a 400 ex shock mounted? If so What are you using for a bushing on the bottom? I don't want to just mount metal to metal.
Get o,connors bushings for the top and don't be nervous about the bottom mount,it will hold up fine and they are designed that way from the factory.
The bottom is set on a linkage from the factory on a 400ex and that linkage has a bushing. So no there not set up for this from the factory.

Thanx a friend of mine is going to make the bushing and I'll just use a stock steel sleeve and then a set of Oconnors top shims and it will work like new.
Yes that is the plan. I can't stand when things start getting loose on my quads. When i had my banshee after 2 years the upper right A-arm started getting a little wiggle so off the ones came and on went the lonestar arms. Then from there I went nuts on that bike. I don't like having the clunk noise when going down the trails. I like to ride fast and I don't need things breaking.
