400EX Rear shock

For the 400EX rear shock for a blaster do you have to Modify the blasters airbox to make it fit?

I think if it is the one with the rez mounted to the right you do, but if you have the one with the rez centered I don't thinks it's needed. Not 100% sure though

does anybody use the search feature anymore? or did anyone ever use it for that matter?

a 400ex shock, no mods to the airbox are really needed but it will probably rub a little bit.

a 450r rear shock you have to cut a tab off the frame and do some slight cutting to the airbox

btw, you will have to use bushings in the top mount to bolt the shock up. ken o'conner makes them so you dont have to.

u have to take off the air box lid or the rezzi will not cear the snorcel

Or you could take off the snorkel maybe?

just take the lid off and rejet. its good for some throttle response anyways.

i blew my airbox with a heat gun and pressed it back a bit so it would stop rubbing, used to squeak against the ressi, not serious but i just did it.

i jus put some grease between the resi and the airbox, it doesn't squeak anymore
