300ex carrier bearings wont go all the way in !! ??

I know its not a blaster but yous people on here seem to know alot about quads so i figured id try i have a 300ex that im doing the carrier bearings on and i cant get the bearings to sit in all the way it seems because when i put the axle in theirs not enough "splines" to grab the bolt. I tried hitting them in pretty good but they just wont go. Is their anything i can do ? :-/

If u can take them back out try putting them in the freezer to shrink them and then heat the carrier as long as it wont hurt tehe paint. Theyshould drop in

^^^ but don't try to turn them after you take em out of the freezer. And make sure you only tap on the outer ring of the bearing good luck!
