300 ex opinion

I might be able to get a 300ex in good shape for $500-600.Who thinks it would be a better starter quad for my 16yr old son than the Kawasaki Lakota?I:I

Ive had a few in the past. Its a honda so you cant kill it lol. Main thing on them is the valves/ timing. Good price to

I vote honda 300ex. A buddy of mine had
One when we were younger and we abused the hell out of it. Fun quads. Quick & torquey, but not too much so for a younger rider.
I have no opinion on the Lakota, as I am not familiar with that particular model.

I have an update no 300ex for us.guy supposed to bring me $400 and a atc250es big red for the Lakota in the am.Then in the afternoon another guy supposed to ring me a Lakota sport needs chain[I already have 1]and battery{$60 at walmart] for $250.so I sell the Lakota and end up with another Lakota a 250es and $90.win win
