240+ engine kit?

So basically the LA sleeve set up is for stock stroke which means if you went with a +3 stroker you would need a spacer to make up the difference for the port windows or pay more $ to get a port job matched to the stroker crank on a $600 top end thats brand new when it already comes ported or even the left behind casting cleaned up better? That really sucks if thats the case!

Not when you consider the gain, the stock bike has about 15 hp, and your talking about trippling the horsepower with a decent torque cure. It sucks if you don't have the money but its actually not a bad deal. In all reality 98% of you would be better off putting that money into suspension and a decent pipe, because you cant afford to maintain that motor much less build it. You start pushing 40~45 hp thru that motor, you better factor in an aftermarket cutch basket, frequent clutch changes and going thru the tranny a couple times a year. Honestly that power in a stock blaster is just going to put you in plaster, because you are going to hurt yourself. Your better ioff not playing with the big dogs if you cant afford the dog food.

too many damn options but there is no way a stroker alone can be better then a stroker with a big bore kit...im looking for all the power i can get at this point!

well i know for a FACT that a stock bore stroked motor with a little FLOTEK magic can beat a BBK with non pro porting. a BBK is nice but they have room to improve once you get it installed..

Why would the vitos cylinder come fully ported?? your buying an aftermarket 240 cylinder with better casting and potential than stock... but not everyone with a blaster wants the same motor, some people trail ride, some mx, or race xc or dune or race desert or drag... all very different motors and require different porting. its like an ice cream shop.. not everybodys favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip... if they only had 1 flavor how much ice cream would the sell?

youll want a spacer and~ porting ,when they say its already ported thats a gimmick it means they knocked the high spots off and danced a buff wheel on the exhaust tract ..for a stroker it will be off even further ..trust me its not a full portjob.as others in the past have said: real power- costs real money

thats a really good analogy B)

airsal is nothing like the la sleeve ct sonic 240bb ,the triple exhaust is way different between them the port timing is different the head design the intake is way different the airsal isnt even using an iron sleeve liner like the ct sonic kit has.i would take the ct sonic anyday over the airsal not that its bad but the sonic is just much more well thought out and has a higher potential
