22" Mud Lites!!

The mud lites that I have aren't SPs...at least the rears aren't, because they don't make 22-11r8 rears in the SP flavor. I think they're the mud lite ATs, the ones with the 3/4" deep tread, rather than the 1.5" deep tread on the XLs. They are plenty light too, and they steer GREAT!! They don't feel heavy at all. They spin, when I want them to, very well....but they don't spin when I don't want them to (unlike the stockers), which is a good thing!! WAY better than stock!

The only downside so far is that now that I've got some grassy patches in the yard, these tires rip the grass up bad, just driving straight over it. The stockers and the hole shots don't do that.

Anyone from MA that wants to take the quad for a rip is welcome to...

there was a kid around here that rocked 22" mudlites on his '04 blaster. they work awesome. sadly i can tell you that with 22" midlites you can still get going 50mph down a road and hit trees and die. RIP man.

hey is that a joke or somthing or is that true

i was between mud lites or kenda klaws- i ordered the klaws 1st this monday (exppect ship on thurs) i hot stuck my first time in a mud hole up to my knees deep with the stockers so i wanted mud tires. but then i figure why not buy good trail tires first since i acan always use the tow strap to pull my atv out being so light. i might still get the mudlights with extra rims for those really bad days

Would you be able to measure them and tell us what they actually measure out at? My 20" Holeshots measure very close to 21", curious how much I'd gain with the 22" mud lites.

The only problem i have had with the mud lite is if you don't have real good traction in the front it will push you when u steer hard,I need to get them for the front like xjma did.

I'll measure tonight and get back to ya....

If you're having a problem with too much traction in the rear....you're doing pretty good!!

I'm still very happy with the tires. I have yet to get it stuck, but probably because I know better than to go through the real real real nasty stuff!! I've ripped through real muddy fields in the after all this rediculous rain we've been having, no problem. The only occasional 'problem' I get is that you can't steer too well when the front tires are up in the air! I think I'm going to have my friend lengthen the rear swing arm to help with that though, haha.

I measured them last night, although it was not on pavement or anything, sitting on the grass, the tires seem to measure right at 22" tall. I have about 4 psi in them. If they were on pavement or concrete or whatever, they may be a hair taller....and I'm sure they get a little taller as they start spinning faster!!

i got my klaws and they kept me from gettin stuck pretty good. im a new rider and went with two experienced riders one banshee and one 06 raptor (700 or 600?) anyway they both have bearclaws lol i would have gotten them if i knew tht these guys chose them. anyway i got stuck 4 times- night riding and the ground is loose on the headlight so it goes on and off when it wants, i would try and pass the guys in the holes but just hit massive ruts and bottom out. but thats the only problem is ground clearance whick is tradded off for handeling/acceleration. the guy on the raptor got stuck 3 times and the bansheee knows these trails real good :) i kept up for a noob
